Antonia George-Sigtryggsdottir

Antonia qualified from The British School of Osteopathy in 2012 and prior to that she completed a 3 year program in Massage Therapy in Iceland as well as several courses in different Holistic therapies. After graduating as an Osteopath she continued to regularly further and update her education by completing numerous courses including a postgraduate course in Cranial Osteopathy and several courses in Positive Psychology.She has a passion for health and wellbeing and believes that optimal health and happiness come from within.

Antonia places emphasis on preventive healthcare, awareness and encourages patient autonomy. She is originally from Iceland and is a great outdoor enthusiast. Antonia works with the whole person and uses a variety of techniques in her work, such as cranial and structural Osteopathy (e.g. articulation and manipulation). She also focuses on the stresses we accumulate in our fascia (fascia is collagen fibres that can be found throughout the body enclosing the organs and connecting them to bone and muscles) and tissues in general. Antonia automatically uses her intuition to feel for deeper restrictions/imbalances in the way of reaching optimal health.


In recent years she has gained specific experience in working with the elderly and their needs. Antonia is passionate about positive psychology, health and the mind-body connection. She specialises in treating stress related problems and chronic pain where she looks for the root of the problem. She offers various workshops and coaching within Positive Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Coaching.
